  • Nice work...but isn't it Po'k Salad Annie, as in Pork Salad????? Polk just doesn't make sense to me. (Unless it's related to Fort Polk in Alexandria, LA) But that doesn't make sense either.

  • Thanks Man for your nice and funny comment, like I thing you are :-)

You should get more into Elvis Presley music than you will have prrove that this is a real song :-)

Maybe now with my poor and simple clarification , this words will start to make sence for you too ;-)

  • This is awesome man! You are the real deal.

What kind of tele is that and what are you playing through?

I just subscribed and look forward to seeing more videos.

Elvis and James Burton are two of my long time music heroes. You do them justice!

  • love to know the pickup notes or tabs for the way you play this song. one of the best I've heard at mixing bass line and lead. with tabs one day I could play like you

  • @dmacmurray lol Polk Salad is a green that grows in the yards, yoou can cook it, alot grows in georgia where im from. :P

  • @dmacmurray if im not mistaken i think the title has something to do with what they eat somewhere in the south states in the US. I think there is a clip where the original writer tony joe white explains about this:)

  • Badass!!!!

  • as i understand, polk is the small pouch that the vegetable used be carried in once it was picked, the vegetable so to speak was the"salad" and the pouch was the polk, so it was called "polk salad". something like "pouch vegetable" )))
