American student interns at a French swine operation

Taylor's internship was arranged through Ecole d'Ingénieur de Purpan, a premiere agricultural engineering school in Southern France that offers an exciting summer study abroad program. Located in Toulouse, Purpan's summer program includes viticulture and agriculture courses, field trips and an internship at an agricultural production business. Along with learning French, students will compare the similarities and differences in European and American agriculture, food and culture through classes at Purpan and experiences living with a French family during the four-week internship.
