1966 TV ADAM WEST BATMAN CUSTOM FIGURES MEGO SIDESHOW IDEAL STYLE

Hi! Aside from collecting old toys and comics I have become a participant in the world of action figure customizing over the last five years or so. As a kid I made Aurora kits and Airfix and Revell and all the rest but never really would have ever considered trying my hand at custom action figure making. I love action figures and dolls and many of those who watch my films will know so the chance to add a few 'missing links' to my collection was not to be passed up when I saw on the internet a few guys offering small unpainted heads of characters I wanted as action figures. I have made many now but this is a selection of the ones I have made based on the 1966 TV Batman series starring Adam West. Maybe some more to come too so please keep an eye open and as always thanks for watching!

Yes of course like all action figures in these styles or formats they are fully articulate. However they are display pieces and not 'toys' so are generally just posed and then put in cabinets or wherever.

As I explained on the film I only buy the heads and paint them. I don't sculpt or cast them so I haven't any idea what they are made of.

Thanks again for the comments guys! As I say in the video I am not into taking commissions on these figures and make them just for my own enjoyment. Wes McCue of Classic Plastick does a gorgeous looing TV Batman in a box and there are guys who often sell on eBay too. I am complimented though that some of you are interested in buying my stuff so thanks again for the kind words.

There are fellas out there who are tons better than me at this stuff but I guess I try to keep things looking as neat and clean as I can, start over again when I have to and make sure I have plenty of reference before I start the figures and most important of all I take my time.
