the RCMP just obtained the sound cannon to be used on protesters in Vancouver during the 2010 winter olympics in February... The city even tried to pass a bylaw making "unauthorized signs" illegal with punishments starting at $10,000 fines to 6 months imprisonment.

Shame on the stupidity of the american forces. This device is unpredictable and would have different effects on different people. Some may become deaf as a result of this.
