That brings back memories of the area and the kind of flying I did when I was learning to fly in Cahokia back in the 70's... 'course back then it was one of the school's 150s, not the Kolb I'm flying today. Thanks for sharing.

Where you familiar with "King Airport" located just a little south of Cahokia? If you know the bluffs then you must know of this airport. I have a posted video of that airport as well if you're wanting to look back on fond memories.

nice vid I am on ultralight #12 i ONLY CARSHED 1. I fly a kolb like yours I recently droped a 503 single carb in mine and now it gets up to that ntespeed pretty quik, thaks for sharring the Vid, findleyj1969

Sounds vaguely familiar. Was that a grass field, private airport? I remember practicing soft field landings down there somewhere. The school frowned on us going into unpaved fields, though. Harry Burris was my instructor if that rings a bell.
