I don't think his diet had anything to do with this. 90% of the reason he can play like this is because this is an arcade version of tetris designed for easy speed play, I believe it even has a predictable piece pattern as well as other helps. If you gave him the NES version of tetris (licensed), he probably wouldn't do much better than 200 lines on level 19 like other people good at tetris (excluding emulator cheaters).
