The Rash
Every choice in your life changes your environment, wake up or keep dreaming, smile to a stranger or pass him by, express your feelings or hide the truth, stand still or act.
Sometimes the choices are spontaneous; some others sit inside us and are thought about over and over again, these choices are tough but they are even tougher when they involve the heart.
What if what makes you happy erases what you are; what if your heart would sell you for an empty feeling, what do you do when all the choices hurt?

This video tells a story I had in my mind for about 3 years. It's the analogy of a relationship and the fear of losing the only thing that makes you special in it. The Rash is the symbol of the weird part of who you are; it's the inexplicable thing that causes people to both laugh with you and tease you. But at the same time it gives you so much in common with the people you love. I wrote it at a time when I needed to make a choice that involved my heart; before I decided, I wrote this story.
I recorded and edited the video in 2 days. It was all recorded in my college Universidad del Istmo in Guatemala City; in the acting roles some of my friends helped me.
In addition I used the following videos because I think they express the ideas I had in my mind better:
