There is nothing stupid about dual headlight bikes. Redundant lighting is a very good idea. You are also easier to see from the front because you have a wider presents on the road when compared to one point of light. wider lights = wider appearance.

Dual exhausts under the seat looks cool and also be one of my reason why I'm looking to buy one LOL

I have a buddy that has 1 of these, I personally think its uglier than sin, but then again, I don't like sport bikes what so ever. I rode his a little bit, didn't like the ride (being 6'3, 230) personally take my Harley over one any day, but all in all its a solid bike (and it takes a lot for me to say that). Happy riding my friend, and be safe

I agree with the first comment , the FZ6 is far from a starter bike. I've been riding a 2003 Kawasaki Concours for 3 years and fell in love with the FAZER as soon as I test rode it . I picked up a 2004 with 18K plus miles on it and I haven't rode my Connie since

"cuz the last thing i wanna do is die..." -i hate to break it to you, but the last thing you will do...is die

Don't listen to anyone else man, a 600 or 650 bike is a great one to learn on. I'm one of those (apparently) weird people who agree spending money on a 250cc is just throwing cash out the window. If you're not an idiot, you can ride anything as your first bike.
Good buy on it, hope you love the crap out of it :)

dual exhaust like that is pretty sweet lookin
600cc is not a starter bike. What does everyone say that ? My starter bike was 125cc. Yamaha offers a Gel Seat and Touring windscreen as options. I have a 1000cc sportbike and only use about 50% of the available power.

I couldn't agree with you more. The amount of power this thing is capable of is insane to just start with if you are going to go wild. You have to be extremely reserved, which is quite tricky with sportbike throttle response. The Ninja 250 was by far the more responsible choice. I think you should only consider this bike if you don't want something you'll grow out of for a long time and you feel you have the self control to take your time learning.

I want this bike so bad. How much did you pay for it second hand?

I got it from a dealer with fees and garbage on top, so what I actually paid for the bike was a fairly reasonable 5k or so, but the bill was a whole lot more than that. (I honestly don't remember)

to bad the 08 ninja was not out, it is a full size bike, with a lot of new feautures, looks sharp as hell to, in the showroom you would think it was a 5 or 6 hundred cc, still nice bike man!

I agree, the new 250 is much easier on the eyes and comes with many more features for the same price.
