A roundtable discussion was held on September 12, 2011, at Busboys & Poets in Washington, D.C. It featured Bruce Fein, an attorney and adjunct scholar with the American Enterprise Institute. Ralph Nader was on the panel and also served as the moderator for the event. It dealt generally with the "US government's reaction to 9/11." Mr. Fein said: "We are at the verge of despotism!" He was sharply critical of the US Congress, labeling its members as "weak and irresponsible." Mr. Fein also ripped the former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), for not disclosing to the American people, via the "Speech and Debate Clause" of the Constitution, what she knew from the CIA about "torture, waterboarding and illegal surveillance." He said Rep. Pelosi acted like "a vassal, a serf," when she meekly followed the CIA's order to "shut-up" about the reported wrongdoings.

The worst part about the method they are using is not even bringing up the constitution. Just launch some missiles and see if there is a protest.. no protest? ok we do it again.

I disagree with fraction reserve banking... it has been a usurious scheme since its inception by the goldsmiths. Still, such is the system we operate under and without some kind of dramatic paradigm shift the national debt is what it is [within these parameters]. So the debt is real IMO, however unjust and wrongheaded the banking system is that got us to this point.
And i agree with you about this Fein character staying away from Ron Paul... i smell disinfo!
