Primier Dalton McGuinty arrives at the Mississauga Transit Central Parkway garage on-board MT 2006 D40LF 0611 with senior members of his cabinet to announce the MoveOntario 2020 Funding Innitiative.
I assume that it's meant mostly for people who travel regularily to work, for example, from Barrie to Toronto (longer distances). I don't think many people travel alot from somewhere like Thunder Bay to Toronto, so it would me inefficient to expand it over a vast area.
One plan for MoveOntario 2020 is that all transit systems across the province should all have the GPS automated announcements implemented for the visually impaired passengars.
I found out its some program where all Transit systems kind of merge together, and they're making this card called "Presto" where you can use it on all Transit Systems.

It's only in the Golden Horseshoe area though - the program doesn't give a penny to anyone who doesn't live there.
