Midnight fans, friends and family,
I met Midnight about the time he came home to Sarasota, FL after his ten year hiatus in Texas. We met at an acquaintances house on Siesta Key. Midnight was playing his guitar and a 2nd guitar was available so I picked it up and started playing it with him. I did not know who he was at the time and I sort of kept interrupting what he was playing. He finally looked up with an expletive and said "Your melodies are making it hard for me to concentrate on my own songs". He meant he loved it and our relationship started right then and there.
"Songs From the Attic" recorded in 2000 (retitled "M") was recorded in roughly 8 hours in a small but very nice studio in Riverview, Fl. Midnight recorded the first guitar and vocal tracks live. I later added the rest of the backing tracks and Midnight finished the remaining vocal tracks. It was only meant to be a pre demo. The response he got from friends and fans prompted Midnight to sort of mass produce the album under "M" and the rest is history. In fact the first few copies of "M" sold on EBay fetched over $500.00. To say the least I am proud of Midnight for that alone. I love Crimson Glory don't get me wrong. They are all great people as well. I have known them all for many years being I was raised in Sarasota. Midnight has helped me in the dearest ways and I will never forget his shy smiles, LOUD & BEAUTIFUL voice and most of all Midnight himself. I only wish we had more time...
