The Beatles - The Making of Strawberry Fields Forever (1966-67)

My story about the making of the song Strawberry Fields Forever. From its basic inception whilst filming in Spain. To the recording and re-recording of the song at Abbey Road studios.

My story ends with the famous promo film, filmed in Knole Park, Sevenoaks.

Some of the demo recordings heard here are actually longer and there are a few more takes. There is obviously more to the technicalities of the recordings than I could cover fully here. Anyway I think this kind of covers most of it.

Wow. I never really cared for this song. But after seeing this wonderful presentation, the enormity and genius of these guys is really hitting me. Considering where they came from, it's pretty scary. Love the Beatles.

@pikmin1318 i wish i could've seen him perform, i was too young for the beatles but i was glad to have grown up with his music. as for being in manhatten on dec. 8th 1980, its a night i will remember for all my life, very tragic and very sad!
