@AngelusFitzgerald Genres are just a method of categorizing music, it makes music describing music more bearable and worldly. While some people, I agree, are over-obsessive about genre placement, it's way too broad to just simply call something "music". I would categorize Burial's music under Dubstep, although it pertains to a unique atmosphere, one of a nighttime urban vibe with syncopated beats. Also it's important to note that Skrillex isn't dubstep.

@Volkblin Look at early dubstep before 2006 and you'll see the similarities, after all, this style of music is what spawned dubstep and Burial just takes it back to its roots
