This short video has you laugh at the beginning but has you wondering at the end if, a basic 100 level class on Personal Values and how they Influence Ethical Choices, was omitted from the curriculum. 'Generation Y' people are in an age where Ethics scandals are running wild. To those that cheered at the end of the this video, remember the saying about doing to others as you would have them do to you. Grow up and show some Respect and Integrity. You are setting your self up for failure in the business world that you are now about to enter. Jobs/Careers are scarce today. I have only one last thing to say, Hook 'em Horns.

  • litlflea, people like you are a cancer upon this great nation that I am proud to call home. It is my sincere wish that you perish and do not produce any offspring, so that someday my children will not have to live in a society tainted by even the slightest trace of your character or your genes.

  • Up yours Andy. I guess your just to stupid to understand. This is how bullies are generated. From people like you and those who cheered at the speech. I am a special needs parent, widow, of a beautiful son, who gets picked on and shamed every day he is in school. You are the cancer upon this nation if you believe that laughing and cheering to the face of our president, as many errors as he has been credited for, is an ok thing to do. Let's hope that you have no offspring that share your views.

  • I posted this video and made the remarks that I did, not to slam Texas A&M, but rather to generate a comment section/discussion board if you will, on how important Good Values are in our lives. I believe all schools, from grade Preschool on up, to include Universities, should teach what values are and how important they are to us, as individuals, as a country and as a world.

  • I hate to sound stupid, but could you please explain to me how 'Good Values' is related to this video? Thanks.

Also, I wanted to point out that the title "No Values Taught at Texas A&M" does indeed slam the university by its very nature. So your intent "not to slam Texas A&M" is either an outright lie or you are confused in your approach.

  • What I met is that the class of 2008 was taught no values. I confused in my approach to answer your statement. I just thought it was poor values when the graduating class cheered when our President announced this would be his last address to them. Maybe the class of 2007 was taught different in that you are to respect your elders and the president, no matter how much you internally disagree with them. This is how bullies are made. Poor values for the human kind, no matter what their dumb flaws.

  • Good god woman... are you really that dense? I was at the speech... we cheered because as switchfootage said, "He was honoring A&M by giving his last speech to the graduating class"... get a clue. And this comment "your just to stupid" Where to begin with this one? learn to spell "you're" and "too" before calling people out. Holy Cow

  • @litlflea The Aggies were "whooping". It's a positive thing. They were proud he was doing his last address at Texas A&M so they gave a "whoop" to show their school pride.

  • Just stumbled across this - what the heck? The OP is so far off base that I chuckled. If the purpose of this was to create discussion - why take a dig at Texas A&M in your opening comment?

  • you moron, do you know anything about a&m?

  • so first of all this is a classic example of how the liberal media will try to slam and bash anything that dosnt fit their values, say a president, and try to tarnish it. this speech was amazing and the d-bag that posted it obiously is influenced by this liberal media.

    thank God im an Aggie!

    WHOOP!

ps A&M has more values on its worst day than TU has on its best. and you can bet your bottom dollar on that.

  • I dont see what whoever posted this video is complaining about? They were Whooping because they felt honored to have the President speak at the last Graduation Commencement he would ever do as president. Maybe if you didn't cut the video off short you would see that.

  • I think it is safe to say that they were whooping to show that they felt honored to have him speak at their graduation. It's offensive that you would make such an incorrect assumption.

  • I feel that the retard who posted this video was looking for a way to slam an institution dedicated to strong American values. Even if it means using some ambiguous example to prove their point. The fact that the cheers can be interpreted as either a sign of respect or otherwise makes it a weak attack. Then realizing that the graduating class was excited and honored to have the president come to their commencement address makes this t-sip look childishly foolish.

    Gig'em!

  • Bad Bull

  • Maybe you should give back your degree then huh? You also need to change your name here - you are not redass!
