Jack Thompson fails to mention the psychological history of both Cho and the two Columbine shooters. BOTH were bullied and obviously suffered some form depression, THAT is why they turned to the games. To me, it is obvious that they might have already had some sort of evil plan going on before both of the shootings happened. The games did not cause them to do anything.
Violence was around a lot longer than games. And the world would be just as violent with or without them. Personally i find that games are a good place to vent anger and feelings that lead to violence. Jack Thompson is just an attention whore who scapegoats entertainment. It always happens like with horror movies and heavy metal. My point is that Jack Thompson is a dickhead.
@JesusChrist4REAL Exactly right, just cause i play violant video games doesn't mean i like to kill, i remember on GTA 4 launch day i got the PS3 Special Edition got home and played it, the first weapon i got was a baseball bat, I killed a Taxi man with it and drove away. I wasn't blood thrsty after in fact i was remembering him screaming and getting beetan by me and i literaly felt sad and sorry for that guys fate.
