  • The fact that this man is still alive is testament to the fact that video games do not train people to murder one another. As someone that can enjoy sitting down and playing online games such as CoD and Counter Strike with my friends, seeing an ignorant man such as this fills me with rage, yet I do not take up arms against him. Funny though, if he was right, shouldn't people like me have already put him 6 feet under with all the training we have gotten?

  • I really fill sorry for jack thompsons son

  • @DoctorGrambeat same here, in fact video games saved me from depression and sadness.

  • Does everyone smoke get lung cancer? Yes but a lot do, yes a few do who play violent games keep violent acts..yes..but banning these games won't work same way banning firearms wont work, we need awareness of mental illness, what Thompson fails to realize is there were warning signs from these people and we failed to notice it? Banning games will only make them more popular. ohh..we had warning signs about 9/11 too, WTC bombed in 1993, letter to GWB in Aug 2001 "BIn ladin to attack inside USA".

  • Howabout the people were social outcasts and then they just snapped, more logical that way

  • @DoctorGrambeat Same Here

  • blaming video games to avoid social and education issues. classic, stupid excuse. perfect for the medias.

  • If video games trained you as much as he thinks, I would be one of the most dangerous people of all time. Between all of the shooters I've played, I have killed hundreds of thousands. Funny that I'm the calmest, least violent person I know. In fact a sing and act in musicals and love snuggling with my girlfriend. Ya. Its trained me real well - look out.

  • ILLUMINATI.

  • how about u train yourself by shooting targets instead of video games

  • @Nakedfireman If the parents do not properly do there job of teaching right from wrong, they are to blame not the games. A video game is a simulation, the whole reason why there are game ratings are for that exact reason that a 7 year old does not pick up a violent game and think its all cool to have guns and stuff, but for a mature person that can in fact figure out right from wrong without having help.

  • @Nakedfireman I just love how he uses this argument. I mean come on, Teenagers that are over 16 ( maybe under) and adults should be able to understand that yes while these games might instill these thoughts into kids minds, it's not the games themselves that cause them to do these things, it is a result of the relationship between parent and kid.
