That is a conversion. The buggy was a nitro and he used a conversion kit to convert it to a brushless monster. I have the same buggy at home with a fiegao motor running with a MMM V1 refurb and a 16t pinion on 6s lipo and get similar speeds. Crazy to see a buggy that size move like that. So, yes he bought that size pinion gear....and no, he had to convert the buggy to electric.
