  • That awkward moment when you are watching videos like these and you have to pee and when you go to the bathroom it's like freaking Paranormal Activity. Waiting for shit to happen.

  • all they had to say was tree rape and IT WAS OVER!!!!

  • @molcoo We'll just have to agree to disagree then. lol

  • @TheAltair4 Evil Dead did have bits of slapstick but it wasn't nearly as over-the-top and in-your-face. I also found it to be incredibly creepy and atmospheric, which the latter two films didn't have. I still enjoy the hell out of Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness (I never get enough of Army of Darkness). but when put next to the original, I find that they really do pale.

Regardless, this all is just my opinion. So....relax, dude :)

  • @TheAltair4

Yes i agree ED 2 surpasses the excellent original and ended nicely with Army of Darkness which was more fantasy-comedy-action than horror.

  • @molcoo lol. Seriousness? Oh, come on! You've got to be kidding me! The highly over the top slapstick gore approach is just as obvious in this film as it was in both Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness even if it was unintentional, which i seriously doubt seeing as how Sam Raimi has been a huge Three Stooges fan his entire life and has deliberatelyy incorporated elements of that show into most of his works. Evil Dead 2 was one of the very few sequels that i consider to be superior to the original.

  • God damn, I froth at the mouth like a rabid dog when I see Evil Dead over and over again.

It's that good. so good, you go mad.

  • The original will always be the best, for it's seriousness (makes the film all the creepier). I hated Evil Dead 2's obvious slapstick and Three Stooges vibe.

  • Awesome movie, I was watching it again today when somebody pointed out "you know what, with all of the things that spurt an abnormal amount of blood, you'd figure TAMPAX would have tried to bought the rights on one of those clips for a commercial"

  • so damn good, the last half hour is especially just genius
