mines a 2008 model and has no rust, however a little bit of rust is last thing to worry bout...they cheeply made bikes and it shows..my bike looks awesome..tint screen, rear hugger, always clean n gleams. but wots the point if its got a poor engine and bits continually go wrong.

Mine is 2007 and has no rust and rode in the rain many times as well. Only problem I have is it needs to be oiled a lot or it gets squeaky at low speeds.
