this is basicly... what happend to me. I am the youngest, out of 3. I was the spoild one. She would call me her little baby. I was 18, and up in Arkensaw.. My brother called me and told me my mom was dieing. so i got there that night.. My mom died 10 mins before i got there, I broke down and just lost it. I thaught i was gonna die. I loved her dearly. My brothers was trying to keep me together. It hurt so much for months when i hear this song, in my car i pulled over and cried, just like a baby.

I know this song isn't about grandma's... but I cry every time I hear this song because it reminds me of my mamaw rose (been passed away 7 years) and I was her sunshine girl. she died of lung cancer...and when it says ''I never got to say goodbye'' it KILLS me.. I never got to tell my mamaw how much I love her and how much she means to me.. and I have to live with that for the rest of my life. if your mom/grandma dad/grandpa is living.. tell them you love them.. you might not be able to tomorrow

my mom died november 15th 2011. We all knew she was leaving us, but I left to go to store and she died while i was rushing home. She was out of it, but came to when she was dying telling her mother my grandmother she was sorry but she had to leave. I came in and saw her body and closed her eyes and I fell to tears. She had Ovarian Cancer and it is not talked about that much, but it kills 50% of the people who get it within five years she died two months from her five year diagnosed.RIP Mommy
