INFJ to INFJ
Because there are so many people mistakenly typed with INFJ preferences, I decided to start interviewing people who I knew for certain had INFJ preferences. In this case, Julie and I are both MBTI type practitioners.

I don't know Julie very well, had only met her once before this occasion (I believe). So she was a real sweetheart to consent to do this for me. We were in a hotel ballroom, and staff kept trying to get in, which I think distracted her. I actually like that, because it gives you a chance to see INFJ for *real* when the pattern gets rattled. Thanks to Julie for trusting me with this.

  • It's funny how they both like to talk with their hands :P

  • I thought that was great at the end where you talked about that "trance" that you both get when doing some mundane or tedious task. I feel like I do that all the time and hence why I tend to be late for stuff at times because I'll get in that "trance" and it feels like 5 minutes went by, but it was really an hour.

  • I enjoyed watching this video and am pleased to find you both so articulate. I can relate to much of this and cannot tell you how many times I've come home from the grocery store with the wrong item, and I have also grabbed someone else's cart at the grocery store. I also have trouble seeing what is right in front of me if there are several items because I tend to see the grouping, and have the same dislike for routine detail work but tend to zone out and get lost in my thoughts. Great video!

  • thanks for sharing :) I have INFJ preferences. I am so similar to you ladies. So, much positive body language, hand gestures, speech patterns - remind me of myself. I also do/did go into my day-dreaming type of world a lot, but more when I'm under stress. Is that primarily INFJ? My daughter is (i think) ENFJ also lives in her own world a lot (is it an intuitive feeler thing?). & my husband is INTP (a professor! no less) & he does it sometimes... but he admits its not all the time. but thanks!
