Oh, and how is it you people can ignore the fact that so many of our soldiers are coming home and committing suicide?
How do you ignore the fact that Ron Paul, the ONLY candidate talking about bringing troops home, receives more donations from active military than ALL OTHER CANDIATES COMBINED? An insanity has taken over your side. Pure insanity. You send our young men and women off to die for no reason other than your selfish false sense of security. You people are such scum

Oh, also, define "win"
Please explain this too me, since I used the words military industrial complex, clearly I don't know what the fuck is going on around me, soooo.... What would constitute a win? When all the terrorists are dead? When all Muslims are dead or converted to other religions?
What do YOU know about what's going on around you when you speak in such absolutes? There's no clear victory, it's all opinionated, and there will always be bad guys, so shut up moron.

Actually, private contractors lobby constantly for new contracts to be created, and for them to have a leg up in the bidding process. Blackwater was a big example, with multi BILLION dollar contracts going to them. There is a lot of money to be made off war, and THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX will say and do what it can to ensure it never shrinks, and always grows, which is why WE, the voters, must put a leash on it.
btw lol@ "your leader" as if you aren't American suddenly.

Please excuse me if I can't follow along. I'm not a smart person. I just read what's written and process it the best I can.
When I called for limiting the military, that was the response you gave me. I'm glad I simply got the wrong impression and you don't actually think that.
Back to debating properly. You mentioned cronie-capitalism, I ask you now in response, how are the private contractors that lobby to keep the war going any differences from that?

I guess you don't understand how people perceive republicans and conservatives from the things you say. You confuse everyone. You say one thing, and sort of try and sound a bit obnoxious and crazy with it like you're what a true patriot, and this nonsensical behavior doesn't make sense because nobody else is as patriotic.
Ron Paul voted for military operations in Afghanistan, BTW. Your basing your argument against his ideals on misinformation.

@chronDiggity No, I accused you of making up facts. Also because I earlier used Al Qaeda as an example of needing a strong military never meant that I thought it was the only reason. Learn how to debate. Mentioning one argument doesn't mean that I don't think that there are others.
Yes, we are deeply in debt, mostly thanks to entitlements and croanie captalism.

@chronDiggity You don't understand Republicans or conservatism very well if you believe that. I do believe that our military does need to be rebuilt to pre-Clinton levels. I don't think every dime from entitlements needs to go there. Paul and you, his groupies, live under a delusion that all we need to do is withdrawal and our enemies will leave us alone. Clinton believed that too. 9/11 was the result.
@elephant37020 Let's compare the two presidents shall we!! Bin Laden is offered on a SILVER PLATTER by Sudan, and Bill Clinton was pre-disposed with MATTERS in the ORAL office, I mean OVAL office!! But to show his efforts he blew up a few radar towers in the middle east, then blew his own.....well you know the rest with the dress.. :)
Bush grabbed a bullhorn and atop a pile of rubble made a commitment to the American People - AND KEPT IT! :)
Who's the REAL LEADER!
