@NicoleSoul49 No sweetheart, Barbizon gets u in the door by saying "Wanna be famous" and they claim to be a talent agency. They show u pictures and tell u mock success stories of ppl they've "made famous". That's what talent agencies supposedly do. NOT! Here's what u do 2B a model:
Headshots, resume, mail/email. Period.
Here's what u do 2B an actor:
Headshots, resume, mail/email. Period.
U're welcome.

@LiveLoveLearn121 There are more ppl who didn't use Barbizon & r famous than there r those who did. And all the ppl u mentioned have different, reputable agents, now, who have state-issued talent agent licenses & certificates to prove they're real agents! And what the hell has David Archuleta done lately that even qualifies him as famous? He went on American Idol & became famous! NOT FROM BARBIZON!!!

Omg I got a call for this modeling thing but before I went I looked it up it's just a big SCAM!! It's on dateline pple dnt listen ur just wasting 5000$ just standing there wth

Okay, people, its not a scam. So shut up. Im doing it and It and I get an agent. I know people who became famous off off this place, for example: Moises Arias, David Archellata, Nicole from J.O.N.A.S, and TONS more. So if you people dont have enough money to do this, you are probably just jealous. So dont beee. Kthanksbye!

barbizon is a fun way to learn a lot about modeling and acting! ive been doing it for just four or five months i do six months in total then im a barbizon girl for life! they put us in agencies and castings and its also just a great experience!!!

SUCH an OBVIOUS SCAM. $5000 paid to walk on a stage and smile? PURE SCAM, if their mothers can't teach them "make up" and "smile". O.M.G. Rip off.

@bellabamba11 isn't Barbizon more about training and prep and not so much representation? Seems like to me these girls do learn from the experience and they should know that a modeling career is about as easy as hitting the lottery - not many make it to the big time. That said, the things they learn from organizations like Barbizon should help them in whatever career path they eventually choose.

This is what you pay a thousand dollars for? To just stand there? I could do it for free. So glad I researched Barbizon before shelling out the $1395 they were asking for.

@XOedwardXOlover how would you know! Don't listen to other people. Barbizon is a SCHOOL not a agency! Saying it's a scam b/c you think it's a knock-off agency is like saying college is there to get you jobs. No, college is there to teach you and once your out of college it's up to YOU to get a job.
im from germantown, maryland.
this thing is so boring.
i stopped watching this video after 57sec.
country music sucks. hip hop & rNb and rap is the BEST!

@NicoleSoul49 The way Barbizon portrayed itself, it made people think that they were actually foing to represent and PROMOTE you. You're right that they can't guarantee jobs, but go on google, type in barbizon scam and read all of the negative reviews. True there are a few success stories, but in the end, the $1395 they demand you pay is completely unreasonable. My friend had been modeling 7 years prior to joining Barbizon, and after paying all of the money for the "school," never got any calls.
