When Wendy Walsh was a child, her parents didn't have to worry about the quality or cost of her medical care even though she had rare, chronic, kidney stones. The reason: they lived in Canada. But now that she's a mother, she worries every day about how she could afford to pay for for her children's care if they get sick. Single payer, California OneCare would eliminate that worry.
