Probably the clearest and most concise argument about the weaknesses of Impact factor I have seen.
Still, I'm not quite sure why a 2 year and 5 year citation window is "indefensible". Does a 3 year citation window (SNIP and SJR), really makes such a big difference?
I suppose there is a study on this?
