"HAIR on Ice" premiered at Pickwick Ice Center on June 11, 2010, at the Los Angeles Ice Theatre's Cabaret on Ice. On June 13, it took Second Place in Group Performance at the Los Angeles Figure Skating Club's Showcase for Skaters. The program is lovingly based on Gerome Ragni, James Rado, and Galt MacDermot's "Hair: The American Tribal Love Rock Musical" as well as Milos Forman's movie "Hair".
Make Love, Not War! This groovy experience features over twenty hip and cool adult skaters — some who lived, really lived, the 60s — from rinks around the Los Angeles area. It was imagined, directed, and choreographed by Denise Moore and Trifun Zivanovic and edited by Sharidan Williams-Sotelo. Peace on Ice.
