Bach BWV 1002 From Suite No. 1 for unaccompanied violin in B-minor. Imagine this can be played om a single violin!! Amazing!
"Sarabande" was originally a fast dance from Latin America, often with a sexual undertone. It was banned from several European countries but at the end of the 17th. century it changed and got a more religious and serious sound. No dancing!! :)
Hope you like this guitar version.

  • I had herd your version here before, and now I am actually learning the piece with the help of my teacher. I am studying closely because it is a rather difficult piece. Which version are you playing here? Is it your own version, or a specific existing arrangement for guitar? (Mind the differences I find here are very very subtle, but still apparent enough to let me ask this question.)

  • Hi. I am happy you are learning this too. I am playing my own arrangement that you can find on my web site at

    per-olovkindgren. com

I mad small changes but tried to stay close to BAch's own violin composition.

    Kindly,

  • the classical guitar is a great way for young people - or ANY people to learn 'understand' classical music. the 'confusion' of contrapuntal music of Bach's time can be to 'today's ear hard to fathom. the guitar with, ironically, it's limitations somehow cuts to the 'heart' of the music, making it accessible.

Bravo! Bach himself is listening - and smiling :0

  • Bravo !

  • Hi. Greetings from Easter Island, i love this song and your interpretation of it... i bought your arrangement of Here There and Everywhere and i just don't get tired of playing it...have you think about making arrangements from some movie's sountracks like vois sur ton chemin from The chorus or the Braveheart's main theme? I mention those because i think is quite your style....thanks...(and sorry about my english)

  • Superb version. Really liked your interpretation, and your technique is just perfect.
