Save our Forests, Save our Climate

Greenpeace is campaigning to save Indonesias precious rainforests and peatlands for the stability of the global climate, the sake of
biodiversity, and the welfare of forest-dependent people. The Greenpeace
ship Esperanza is in Dumai Port to protest the ongoing destruction of
forests and peat lands in Indonesia by large corporations for palm oil
plantations, pulp, paper plantations and other commodities.

Kampanye Greenpeace untuk menyelamatkan hutan-hutan Indonesia dan lahan gambut yang sangat penting untuk stabilitas iklim global, keanekaragaman hayati dan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang bergantung pada hutan. Kapal Esperanza berada di Pelabuhan Dumai untuk melakukan protes atas berlangsungnya kerusakan hutan dan lahan gambut di Indonesia oleh perusahaan-perusahaan besar untuk perkebunan kelapa sawit, Pulp and paper dan perkebunan komoditas lainnya.
