BF3 Beta Mostly a Disappointment

Game play is most of a round from Caspian Border on PC, with lots of tank whoring. I give my thoughts on the beta and why I was disappointed by it and why in my eyes it really was not a true beta and had very little value for everyone involved.

@TyeWebb By placing a title like that you are already misleading the public. This game is pretty different from BC2 I used to know, I don't like that, but I can deal with fact. There are some other things too, but i would like to judge the game by its final version, that would be more objective. Go watch my latest vid in my channel you see why.

bfbc2 is much better in many ways , but the rank whoring in bc2 is focking horrible and annoying

I just played the released game, and i gotta say it was kinda a big disappointment for me. First the origin stuff is very confusing and the server browser is on a website, second in game feels a lot like a bc2 dejavu. Maybe they need new drivers but my graphics are all glithy and strange as well. Fences look glitchy and so does water and smoke. Im playing on high with 50 fps. Can any1 tell me if there s a fix for this?

@Stalinsurfstheweb A lot faster. I got to level 47 with about ten days worth of (intense) play. Once you get to level 45, you rank differently. So 45 is one rank, and 46 and 47 are like rank two and three of that rank. All level unlocks (weapons, etc.) are done by 45 also. The way it seems to me is that there is literally no level cap. After level 45, you are just 45+1, 45+2, etc. So you could be level 75, which would be level 45 emblem, with a number 30 next to it. This is confusing at first.

my opinion i honestly think this beta was a marketing technique to reel in COD gamers and casual gamers into BF3 but because this beta was terrible and glitchy im sure it turned off alot of people to buy the game. i had heaps of fun playing the beta i went nuts when it went offline, coming from a COD player ever since mw1 i will be buying BF3 and hope the final retail version will be great

Some fair points. but they will be updating the game regularly after the release date, so if there are still problems they will be fixed... eventually.

Look at bf2, the final update 1.5 was in September 2009... four years after the release! (tho this was mainly a content update)
