Shaq's "Late Arrival", 21 points vs Bulls

Shaquille's grandmother had died and he hadn't been with the team for a week. He arrives at the arena at the last moment and gets on the bench during the last minutes of the 1st quarter. Coach Brian Hill doesn't want to put O'Neal into the game and it seems like he gets pressured by general manager John Gabriel and president Bob Vander Weide. After all this drama Shaq gets in the game with the start of the 2nd quarter and scores 21 points, although he hadn't touched a basketball in about 6 days. April 7, 1996.

I remember when D-Fish also showed up late because of his daughter had eye surgery. One of the most inspiring NBA moments, but Brian Hill was a bitch tho. I can see why they revolted against his ass in '97.
