This learning package provides you with everything you need to facilitate a learning group in your company.
The basic approach to this type of learning experience is that your people will:

Discuss and reflect on Continuous Improvement efforts at your company today.

Become involved in the learning process. As facilitator, you will help and encourage members of the learning group administer sections of the training.

Through video, observe how Somero Enterprises approached the manufacturing simulation.

Practice and apply lean concepts and tools during the simulated exercises on the shop floor and in the classroom.

Reflect on these exercises, discuss results, lessons learned and develop an action plan to make positive change in your company.

  • @BillEvans1956 Hi Bill,

The 8th Waste refers to wasting the talent of the people.

This is just as bad as the others. This could mean ignoring the ideas for improvements your employees have. Or also refer to a good employee who may be brilliant in another department or job. Waste of talent is possibly the biggest of all, a companies best and most valuable resource is their employees.

    Hope this helps :)

  • Not sure what you mean about the 8th Waste (Talents of the People)? Thanks. Bill
