Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust trailer

This is a trailer I did for a class project for Digital Video Editing with Final Cut I, at the local community college. I got a B!
Vampire Hunter D is a classic anime movie, and they made a sequel, which was actually pretty decent, I thought. I was trying to come up with a project to do for the class, and after watching the movie, I thought: trailer! Fit the criteria of less than 3 minutes, but let me flex my mad Final Cut skillz (which I had only recently acquired, so they weren't all that mad, as you can tell in the video).

Music is "Taste of Things to Come" from the Mortal Kombat (stinky wombat!) soundtrack

@wiccafreak23 The first was just: Vampire Hunter D. It was my first 'anime', and I saw it in raw unsubtitled Japanese. Didn't understand a word of it at the time, but I was hooked. :)

Man when are they going to make a thrid film? We've waited 9 years since Bloodlust and they havent even announced a third film. Would it kill them to throw their long-suffering fans a bone on this one?

The original was one hell of a movie but don't let your love for an original cloud your vision. Bloodlust is a fucking awesome movie.

@brightspark495 The animation quality does not diminish hardly anywhere in this film and plus it's 2 hours long, but feels like an hour and half cuz it's so exciting.

@jayden, I will agree the first one was better. The plot was better IMO, but I'm sorry, as good as the animation was in the first, the detail and vibrant colors in the animation of the second movie blows the first one away in that aspect. Steamboy and Macross plus are the only two other movies I've seen with sharper animation.
