If you are fed up paying rip off prices for image editing applications, then there is an alternative available. Pixelmator offers up all of the tools you would need to edit that photo, add texts, perform filters, adjust contrast and colour levels. All in a VERY cost effective software package. Check out the review and enjoy this apps awesome UI.

  • Thanks for the review; I have photoshop elements for mac on my computer but I don't know how to use it, so, I was wondering if you think Pixelmator would be better, or a compliment to, or is easier to use?

  • I just realized, why do I need Pixelmator if I have Photoshop and it runs from SSD drive for 2 seconds.

  • This is an excellent product. For most video editors, this is a more the satisfactory replacement for photoshop (although photoshop does offer a little bit more control). And it certainly looks much nicer! The GUI is fantastic. It's pretty, it's subtle enough not to get in your way, and it fits the mac interface philosophy very well.

  • lol accent :D But good review :)

  • are you able to brush over images say to create a white background behind it???? please answer!!!

  • this is nothing like photoshop but exactly like adobe indesign!!! search it up if you dont know what it is

  • @Jimmyson07 Yes, yes and yes.

  • @davomrmac thank you i'll get it.
