The Portal

Two guys find a portal and go on a bunch of wacky adventures, but let me warn you: the ending is random. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This was a project I made for school and is probably my last brickfilm. I must have spent days on it! I actually finished it way back in May, but I'm just uploading it now because I had to change a few things for the YouTube version to follow the copyright policy. For example, I changed the music in the Muse sketch and the opening scene, and got rid of one sketch completely. This took the length from 7:15 to 6:50. So if the scenes seem somewhat out of order, then now you know why.

DISCLAIMER: All music, though written by the other artists, I played on guitar or placed the notes into Noteworthy Composer, so that I wouldn't violate YouTube's copyright policy. Also, no legos were hurt in the making of this film, but tons of stinkbugs were.

So how did you create all the instrumental parts of this song? Did you really do the Hendrix guitar on the Star Spangled Banner as performed at Woodstock on guitar? I mean, that really sounded like Hendrix. What kind of guitar did you use? How many takes did it take to come up with the same sound?
