With all the versions of the Bible that people can purchase, it makes the non-believer scepticle on what to believe. Who would not be knowing that the Bible has been written and rewritten over and over for the last 2000+ years. I say, just keep believing what God has told you to and what your heart tells you. For it is true that the Lord lives in our hearts, God bless!

@sethroskinno the 1611 is the same bilble as the 1769. It's the spelling of some of the words that have changed. go check it out online. it's worth it to see how they spelled simple words then.

You are young so I can understand being a babe in Christ. But you saying that you don't curse is like saying you don't sin. You need to learn humility. And even though your sign says God's last name is not Damn, it still doesn't look good to have that in your room. People need to see God in you, not on your wall. To your credit, you are obviously working toward a deeper relationship with Christ.I pray God will show you that these new Bibles that came after the KJV are dumbed-down.

@kiki1326 oh, i know that the other Bibles are 'dumbed down'. they are easier to read and comprehend for some things. I have no problem with the KJV Bible. Bible's are the maps to our road of life. I have a problem when pastors burn Bibles. even if the new ones are 'dumbed down'.. they are Bibles. I appreciate your input, thank you for not being rude. And I understand what you're saying about the license plate.. but it gets the point across. Have a blessed day.

Stacey, you know I am a FIRM believer in KJV. I consider NKJV, NIV, NLT, TNIV, HCSB, GNT, NASB, NCV, etc...to ALL be REFERENCE BIBLES. Now, if ya'll (yeah, I'm from the South AKA: The Bible Belt of the USA and I'm proud to say I'm a redneck woman any day of the week!) want scripture war...BRING IT! I will only quote from KJV, as that is the only bible I personally use. I have no problem w/ anyone else using a reference bible. In fact, my KJV is a Life Application Bible.
