No...Bush was a vocal supporter of many of these big government programs....$400 billion on character education in schools, $800 billion on the war in Afghanistan, the largest entitlement program in over 2 decades (Medicare prescription drugs)...get real. Both Republicans and Democrats lack fiscal restraint nowadays.

No, I'm sorry >> the "record" you speak of is simply what is put out in the press, lets look at the actual voting record. This woman has been a charter member of the right's War on Women. Voting for the catastrophic policies we insisted that any recipients of US aid follow in Africa?....sorry. there are entire village of orphans in Africa who will be more than happy to tell how they've never heard of condoms, nor had their parents.

Why don't you look at her record. It is moderate. She voted to withdraw troops two years ago, is pro-choice, pro-enviromnet, and so on.
