In his remarks at The National Mall President Obama said, "For this day, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s return to the National Mall. In this place, he will stand for all time, among monuments to those who fathered this nation and those who defended it; a black preacher with no official rank or title who somehow gave voice to our deepest dreams and our most lasting ideals, a man who stirred our conscience and thereby helped make our union more perfect." • Why on earth would 229 people dislike this? I am ashamed at how even now some are still racist to each other. We are one. We are part of God's family. I am Asian. Even without MLK, we Asians probably would have been somehow segregated. Thank you President Obama for giving this inspiration speech. Thank you.

  • fake and gay

  • This is so fake

  • @pamdfos Thank you!

  • @nygfan567 Some people are not even mentally human...

  • @TheNeosinneR just as a follow up to my first response I sincerely think you should search "President Eisenhower Military Industrial Complex" and watch his farewell speech. It is a dark prediction of what goes on in our federal government today and hearing that speech and doing more research may clear allow you to see things differently. An example of corruption: look at who is one of the single biggest contributors to both the Obama campaign and the Romney Campaign:Goldman Sachs

  • @TheNeosinneR I hope you are being sarcastic. Obama's foreign policy among other things is even worse than the policies of Bush. Take Libya for example, it may shock you to know that Libya's "dictator" Muammar Gaddafi was in the process of being considered for a (you guessed it!) a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE by the U.N. for his work in Human Rights, when he became a target for the U.S. controlled NATO. Google it if you don't believe me. Obama is Bush part 2. you should research Ron Paul

  • An angry black man, arms folded in contempt, protruding from a white casket of stone? Most viewers should 'dislike' this because it is a conspicuously white memorial to a black civil rights leader, dedicated by the whitest black man in all of American history. A painful insult to our collective intelligence, this is the most racially-charged monument that could have possibly been erected in relief from -- certainly not in respect for -- Dr. King's 'dream' of human freedom and equality.
