@NancyToday Well definately don't want that! Ok so my neighbors tree is safe until November, and I will bring them into the room with the firebox, that should dry them out ok, after I make the dishes, Im going to either get my brother to macrome or however you spell it, into a hanging tiered thing, or Im going to hang them like a mobile, either way its going in back of shower for more soapies! By Easter next year I should be able to report back on how it went. YaY! Thank You muches for the info.

I would love to have willow furniture for outside. Everytime I see them, I love them. Thanks for sharing this.

I want to give this a try, I didn't hear if she said when to cut the willow branches, Im guessing they need to be greencut to be flexible enough to bend and weave, but I don't know if I should cut in the spring or fall. I have only used grape vines so far, and that is alway after the harvest, and first freeze. What do you think?

@Oreocremerocks You can cut your willow anytime, but it'll be longest in the fall. It's best to let it dry for a few weeks or months to let it shrink, then soak it to make it pliable again. Otherwise it shrinks and the whole dish falls apart.
