Central Idol: Whitney (me) singing Dear God by Avenged Sevenfold

At my school every year we have a mini American Idol, which is called Central Idol. The last two years I was not able to perform due to whatever and such, so this year I tried out and ended up being a finalist. Four other girls performed as well. (I found out I came in second)

So I feel like I need to put this out there... I'm a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold, have been for the last six years. They're my favorite band, and my manager even makes fun of me for it. I know exactly how M. Shadows sings this song. I changed it because the song had to be under 2 minutes and I wanted to put it into my range. I love the original, and I wouldn't change anything about it, and if I'm "really off," trust me, I'm aware, I did that on purpose, I don't need you to tell me about it.

Amazing!!!!!! You're so beautiful and your voice is so pretty and clear. This was absolutely flawless! My only tip is don't have your arm across your stomach! I know it's really nerv racking singing infront of a croud but you just gotta own it and have a little bit more stage presence! Other than that, it was fantastic!
