Line6 Gearbox "Metal Odyssey" bass solo improvisation

Just got my new Gearbox plug-in gold bundle. Here's what the "Metal Odyssey" preset from the bass expansion package sounds like. This solo is not much but creates a nice mood. I might use the cool parts in a song someday.

how do you feel about the gearbox being used to record a demo cd, with a full band.

Some comments on Gearbox usage:

- Bass sounds thin at first unless you spend some time tweaking it

- Overall sound is not particularly great unless you have decent monitors. They will give you a good idea of what you might sound live.

- Very easy to "tweak it just one last time". Try to settle on a sound or you won't get any work done... Have only a few presets or you'll have a hard time live unless you have a Pod X3 [Live].
