This guy was fighting the good fight for a long time before he was ever elected. Who says any of this this stuff today? Newt? McCain? None of our elected officials today, believe in the individual like Reagan did. They only believe in staying power in the spotlight.
@amalt37 We humans are not powerless, even with little to no education people have survived through the art of personal toil that kept the homesteader alive. Yet even then men like Fredrick Douglass did bigger things than that, freeing himself and teaching himself to read. Moreover individual people started countless small businesses that transformed that age, We need not even start from no education like them to achieve such similar personal pursuits if education could empower better.
@amalt37 Continuation of first post... The union Leaders then protest to not allow such school choice for those people with kids being failed, they also talk of "self policing" themselves to get the bad teachers out. Even Al Sharpton and others come out to protest school choice that would be for his fellow disenfranchised intercity black supposed protectorate, the only viable reason for this is that men like him are more beholden to fellow Liberal union Democrat power teat suckers.
@amalt37 Oh yeah.. Well from teachers unions to collages it is Liberals that predominate. It is not a secret that main body of teachers and teachers unions are beholden to democrats for giving them favors after bringing in their votes. The Liberal lead teachers unions like the ones run by Randi Weingarten have been turning out a growing intercity drop out rate that is inexcusable, then when people talk of "school choice" and the right to remove bad teachers......Continued next post.
@CyberSpaceman81 I think liberalism has little to do with drop out rates and joblessness. If good jobs were widely available people would strive for them but good jobs are scarse because they have been exported to socialist and dictatorial countries by big bussinesses seeking special deals from those government controlled labor forces. Our taxpayer funded-corporate-controlled military facilitates the export of those jobs.
@Piglatinsuperstar I think only individuals should be allowed to contribute to political campaigns, no unions, no corporations, no lobbyists, no groups or organizations of any kind. And no contribution should be anonymous, if you are dontaing to a public office that will control the public, the public should have the right to know who is donating and how much is being donated.
@Piglatinsuperstar Then their is the dismissing of Black Panther voter intimidation and the platitudes and excuses given by Civil Rights leaders over the death of that fine young Black youth Derrion Albert who was beaten to death with splintered rail road ties by a group of Black gang members as he walked home from school.
@Piglatinsuperstar Let's start with his self billing a bipartisan who would have a "new Dialog" on race. Then all we got was Liberal men like Eric Holder and his "cowards on race" comment and the "Beer Summit" Obama Liberal teaching moment. No talk about the growing intercity drop out rate for minorities under liberal public education. No talk of men like Juan Williams who get called "porch monkey" by ideologically hard left leaning Liberal fellow Black people.
I suppose you never heard a politicain keep his promises and you're all heart broken! I suppose you want the rest of us to be JUST as disspointed
what exactly has he lied about? From what I've seen, just about everything promised has panned out.I like the jobs he's doing and I like the upward trend of consistent & continued job growth. I like having Bin laden's head on a platter and I like the fact that insurance companies cant deny me coverage for pre existing conditions
