Ryan and Patrick must endure some genuinely touching campire stories.

But there is. Remember the factory where they had to input the password XABY? A password they had to input by pressing the corresponding buttons on the gamepad?
@JAHDillaZilla my only problem with them is with how stupid they are in battles. it drives me nuts. theyre like retarded pokemon they can only remember 2 techs at a time.
I get the feeling that a majority of people pissed off by the playstyle of Ryan and Patrick are the same people who use FAQs and walkthroughs for the 1st run in a new game. Old JRPG's like this were full of odd sidequests and insanely well hidden bonus items to reward gamers who would sink MONTHS into turning over every inch of the world.
Let them enjoy the game like we did when we first played it.
@REXanadu "All the designers had to do was tell you exactly what to do even though you've done it before in the same game."
That's not good design, at all. If there's something that was bad design, it was maybe not giving the player a better hint at stealing the ozzie pants/flea vest/slasher 2 if someone decided to not play Ayla at all. I'll agree about Magus' weapon, since that is pure exploration with 0 hints whatsoever.
@ShinyMawile I'll have to disagree on that last point: all the designers had to do was add an explanation of how to enter the password and give the player more time before they fail the sidequest. Hiding Magus' best weapon in his own sidequest is due to bad design, as well. All the designers had to do there was show it on a throne or something. like a memento Ozzie kept for memories of yore. Either that or give the player a choice of Shadow weapons.
@REXanadu I'll give them a break, yeah, since they do only about play this an hour a day. But I don't think it's bad design at all. There's literally no other password system in the game.
Geez, give them a break! As for me, I say that's just bad design on the developers' part assuming you'll use that puzzle again after so many hours without it.
@Naxwell Yes. It's exactly the same. Press the controller's buttons to input password.
There's no other style of password entry in the entire game.
