Rare match of Don using the asian spike as a finisher. I never saw him use it again. Can Terry break the asian spike? Watch and see. I can't seem to find any more matches of anyone using the asian spike as a finisher. Anyone know of any? Links?
few things....is that gary michael kapetta ring announcing? and is this during the "black Saturday" time period when VKM bought crocket's time slot on wtbs? how would he be promoting dusty rhodes???
I don't have any videos of it, but I remember Terry Gordy using the Asian Spike as his finisher during his short stint as "The Executioner" back in 1996.
I would *SO* mark out if WWE released a dvd set on Don Muraco...he was such an awesome heel. And he showed a completely different (and talented) style with his face turn in 1987.
I'm pretty sure Muraco used the Asian Spike as his finisher throughout his first run in the WWF, with The Grand Wizard as his manager. He then went to the Mid Atlantic region for a while, and when he came back, his manager was Captain Lou Albano and his finisher was the Hawaiian Hammer, which was basicaly a Tombstone Piledriver.
Don Muraco used to use the asiatic spike when he was wrestling for Championship Wrestling from Florida in the 70's. I used to watch it when it was on VHF channel 47 in New York at 11 PM on Tuesday nights. I cannot find any other videos of Muraco using the hold either. Does anyone else have any videos of Muraco from that time?

Wow, surprized to see Danny Davis refereeing a match that early on in the WWF.
