  • I want to buy the evolution chopsaw. Does it produce rock music while I am cutting H-beams or does that require additional equipment?

  • Although this saw will cut through "HEAVY METAL", you would need additional equipment in order to rock out. :D

  • after the I beam who can be any more impressed? but it has alot to do with the blade a bet

  • Thanks for the comment! The cutting capability is due the both the blade design, and the lower RPM of the saw as compared to standard chop saws.

  • Dear Santa!!

  • I'm quite impressed by these machines far better than heat cutting. The price is one thing that I need to save up for. Evolution also make other models being the smaller metal cutting drop saw about the same money. I would like to cut rhs 3mm thick and at a 45 degree angle. They say the blades last ten times longer than the heat cutting blades but very expensive. But if you want to make fine work you can't go past one.

  • are they good for cutting aluminium?

  • I ordered one and it came today, wish I had it years ago. Eye protection is a must use

  • how much is it?

  • Cold saws are the ducks guts for RHS and SHS mitres, they cut straight and true and if you cut a piece of of steel 1mm too long just put it back in and cut again they will cut down to less than half the thickness of the blade which an abrasive disc will not do without running off.

  • theirs like a lot of company's that make them Milwaukee dewalt etc
