@flectz Just because there are police systems that are even more abusive doesn't justify this behaviour. The ideal reaction is undeniably for the officer to not slap her back. The official legal punishment for slapping a police officer does not include a return slap. As soon as he slapped her, he assaulted her. It was not in self defense, it was in retaliation. So now they have both broken the law.
Like I said, she should only have been arrested and charged. The slap was wrong.
