I made this video to show how some hoses tend to leak air under boost pressure. The first hose is a high quality oem rubber hose. It won't seal above about 6psi and it leaks pretty rapidly at 15psi. The second hose is a silicone hose from one of our competitors. This type of hose is sold under a few brands names by various vendors on ebay, amazon and other places. It's the size they recommend for this fitting. It fits a little loosely (in my opinion because it's not made quite right) so some of the vendors suggest securing them with zip ties. The bottom line is that neither the oem type nor our competitor's silicone hose can seal on these fittings at 15 psi. Our hose seals air tight at over 50psi, check out our other videos to see this.
