Longer - Dan Fogelberg - Easy Guitar

This is a simple version of Dan Fogelberg's 'Longer' a nice mellow song played frequently at weddings.

There are several great versions of this song on YouTube - this one is done with an alternate guitar tuning - Open G.

Lower your 1st, 5th and 6th strings one whole step. This gives you D-G-D-G-B-D. It gives a very mellow rining tone and makes playing this song very simple.

Please forgive the humming - I can't sing very well and it's hard for me to play the song without the vocal track.

You must have tuned at least 2 or 3 strings accordingly,because the first chord you play without pressing any string at all doesn't sound like that when you play open chords,which one you tuned different ?

Very nice cover, but on you tabs, i think you omitted the notes at 1:10  leading into the bridge, otherwise, it's great. I'm almost got this.

@BaddGuitar Thanks for your response. I did tune accordingly. When i see you play it appears you are hitting notes that dont correspond. The barred 5th in the intro..and the pull off on "i am in love with you" part." it seems you are hitting a 2nd fret A string and the tabs seem to tell me its a higher note. If you have a paypal account I would be happy to pay you for a couple lessons to get it down. I want to play this at my wedding. And as I am not an accomplished player, this is my only way
