I can't believe that people find it really weird that Gillian has an English accent!!!I mean she's not the first and won't be the last American actress who her lets say natural accent is British!!I find it very normal for someone to change accents depending where they are!

Exactly! And like she said, it was her first dialect. I get so annoyed when people say her British accent is fake.

Um...me? When you grow up in two different places you learn to speak in two different accents so kids don't make fun of you and you switch based on where you are. GA grew up in England and if you listen carefully to her American accent, it's flavored with British sounds the way her British accent is flavored with American inflections. Accents are fluid and it's really hard to hold onto one when you're surrounded by the other.

Actually many people do that. It's easier to communicate when we talk not so different. Besides do you really care about the accent she uses??? It makes no difference- it's still Gillian. :)
