  • booze and alcohol don't help but, as a musician, lets face it, when you get older your voice does too. the only guy that still pulls stuff off is Steven Tyler of aerosmith.

  • Don looks ill! Sounds ill too!

  • @BetaSP What about Bruce Dickinson?

  • Don said he went to a voice reabilitation center and underwent surgery. though He thought it was all to be blammed on booze and cigarettes the guys at the medical facility told him that he's been singing for 35 years and that obviously takes a toll. I just hope his voice gets a bit better, just in time for their new abum! in the sad case it doesn't, well I'l still be here to support and rock out with dokken!

  • 30 years is a lot of years see if your the same you 30 years from now.....keep rockin bros seen you in the 80s

  • He just needs one more cigarette, and he'll sound much better!!!! LOL

  • Don from '82 is way better than '07 and in no way does he sound the same from '82. hahah. Sad but true..

  • @Thirdgen83

check out the version breaking the chains from 1982 - he sings it almost the exact same way as in this video. he's just got kindof a weak voice. the times i saw them in the 80's don was the weakest link. but still i'm a huge fan.

  • SO SO SAD

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
