The New York Times is reporting the CIA hired contractors from Blackwater in 2004 as part of a secret program to locate and assassinate top operatives of Al Qaeda. The C.I.A. spent several million dollars on the program, which the Times claims did not successfully capture or kill any terrorist suspects. We speak to independent journalist Jeremy Scahill, author of the bestseller Blackwater: The Rise of the Worlds Most Powerful Mercenary Army.

Shame on the USA! why? so theyre not playing by the rules and doing bad things to bad people, shame. I dont see the Taliban or Al Qaeda saying "yeah well adhere to the Geneva convention" or "lets give women equal rights". To the Ejit that says Al Qaeda aren't real tell that to the victims of the hundreds of attacks they've carried out (I'll skip your counter argument about 9/11. In then end whether they're private or Govt, in it for the money or the patriotism they are still protecting people.

Instead of bullshitting about Blackwater being out to assassinate "al qaida" Scahill should get to the point and say something about "al qaida" being a complete myth, its a product of moral pragmatism. Its easier to attack people when you think they're al qaeda.
