Is this better than insurgency?

@anon12352 I'd say they're different type of games. Insurgency is heavy on the simulation side and Firearms is more about the guns. But since they're both mods, you can try them both to see for yourself. They both have a different feel to them.

Insurgency was sometimes a little too realistic (to a point) for me and there were a lot of hardcore players. Firearms, to me, seems more 'fun' but I do like both.

@Kippypog This game runs on the HL 2 engine right? I assumed the builders stopped at FA 3.0 for the HL 1 engine :-/

why don't any source games have persistent leveling? why do i have to re-earn my guns after each round
